Just ordered the program from Matt Furey and was wondering if anyone else does this or any other bodyweight only exercises?

I am feeling quite a bit of joint pain from my weight workouts, this program is supposed to be easy on the joints and quite an ass-kicker.

I will report back after I get the program and have a try at the exercises.

Got the course the other day and tried my first workout just a few minutes ago. The course consists of 3 bodyweight exercises as the core of the program with another 25-30 possible additional exercises you can attempt once youve mastered the 3 basics. The basics consist of: Hindu Squat, Hindu Pushup, and a Back Bridge exercise for the neck.

Squats - No problem for me going 10 min + on the first day, can easily see getting their 500 reps recommended relatively soon. Squats have always come pretty easily for me, but the high repetitions can get your heart rate and breathing really going.

Pushups - Very difficult to start out with, think I only did maybe 20, but didn't really count as I was worried about the form. These really seem to tax you physically.

Back Bridge - I realize Im not all that flexible with my neck yet, need to work on this one quite a bit more.

After first mini-workout I am sweating profusely and feel great. I like the program so far, gonna give it a few months and evaluate if this is something I will continue doing, maybe even replace my weight workouts completely.

I like it so far.

Did you pay full price from Furey's site or buy burned DVD's/.pdf book from ebay or elsewhere?

I'm really interested but the (full) price is pretty steep & not too trusting of the ebay listings.

Hat,

I paid roughly $35 after shipping for the course, it's decent with a lot of the pics of alternative exercises. Of course after I order I researched the system some more and found that link that Kingbill just posted. In my opinion just look at the link and follow it, no need to buy the course. Matt really doesnt recommend a set # of reps or routine like I was thinking when I ordered, just do a little more each day starting with roughly 15 minutes.

Those Hindu pushups and back bridge are very tough in the beginning. The exercises seem easy on the joints too, something I really like, hope it stays that way as I have a problem with one of my elbows.
